Audio Engineer
I started my love of music at an early age. My father showed me how to play a few chords on the guitar when I was 10 years old, and I have been working on developing those skills ever since. Throughout high school and college I participated in rock-style bands as well as traditional ensembles such as marching band. These experiences formed the foundation which would lead to further studies in audio and producing my own music.
I began studying audio engineering and recording techniques at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. This has enabled me to develop skills in studio sound, live sound, and audio for video.
Lincoln Theatre Columbus, Ohio
After graduation I began work as an audio engineer at the Lincoln Theatre. The experience gave me exposure to various live sound environments. Shortly after starting at the Lincoln, I also began freelancing for companies and individuals around the central Ohio area. I’ve had the opportunity to work with many different types of shows ranging from national touring acts to community theatre.
Short North Stage. Duplicity Tour.
Jazz And Ribs Fest. Preservation Hall Band
Riffe Center Studio 1 Theatre. Redd Herring Production.
Veritas Community Church Columbus, Ohio
During this time I started part time as Head of Audio for Veritas Community Church. I was in charge of weekly band practices and running audio on weekends for services. This was a great learning experience for me as I had free rein on how I wanted to build the audio system for the church.
After a few years, I was promoted to Assistant Technical Director for the Lincoln Theatre. This was an exciting step as it allowed me to continue to grow as a technician and a leader. As a result of the promotion, I also started working part time at The McCoy Center as well. The McCoy Center was a great place to work and I was able to be apart of many exciting productions.

Then in 2020 l was promoted to Technical Director of the Lincoln Theatre. This was a great step in my career. Little did I know it would be short lived. Because of the pandemic, I decided to leave theatre production and make a move toward church production.
I now serve as a Production Technician for Faith Life Church in New Albany, Ohio. I have been able to use a lot of my skills I learned in theatre production. Building sets, installing wire, rigging, and lighting programming just to name a few.
We have worked on quite a few large projects in my time at Faith Life. Within the past year I have built and installed a new stage design and completed a studio renovation.
I continue to work as a freelance audio mixer, as it is a passion of mine. As I move forward in my career, I am excited to see what new challenges I will face and new skills I will learn.
